Argentine Corn Pie

Argentine Corn Pie is a truly delicious and aromatic pie. The cooking preparation consist of pie crust being placed in baking dish, brushed with beaten egg and spread with a corn filling mass. The filling is made of onions being sautéed, after what the milk, cornstarch, butter, ground nutmeg, salt and pepper are added and the mass is cooking for couple of minutes, after what chopped hard boiled eggs are mixed with the thick filling sauce. Second pie crust is being placed on top of the filling mixture to cover it and the pie is baking in oven until it turns beautiful golden brown in color. Served hot or cold.
