Argentine Mandioca

Argentine Mandioca is a popular dessert dish consisting of yuca, granulated sugar, shredded coconut, grated cheese and aniseed. Simple cooking process of this dish consists of yucca (also known as cassava or mandioca) being peeled, grated and mixed with sugar, cheese and aniseed until smooth in texture paste. The paste is then being placed on saucepan with melted butter and bay leaf and left to cook until dish turns lovely golden brown in color. Cooked Mandioca is served chilled cut into small squares.
