Arroz de Mariscos is a very popular dish in Portugal and it can be found everywhere. Generally, it is rice prepared with shellfish. The ingredients of the Arroz de Mariscos are prawns, mussels, clams, shrimp, crab or any other shellfish, rice, onions, tomatoes, garlic, peas, chili, white wine, oil, water or broth and oregano. The shellfish is cooked before ahead. Then the vegetables are fried a little in oil. Then all ingredients are mixed and simmered. The Arroz de Mariscos is seasoned with some chopped parsley, coriander leaves and/or tomatoes. Sometimes cream is added to it. Arroz de Mariscos is served hot.
