Austrian Green Bean Salad

Traditional Austrian Green Bean Salad is made with French-style or cut green beans, bacon cooked until crisp and brown, and finely chopped onions (usually red onion is used to make salad more colourful). Some recipes also include cut tomatoes. The dressing consists of water, vinegar, olive oil, salt, sugar, ground pepper and may be prepared with parsley, dill weeds or any other herbs. The green bean salad is served cold after some hours of refrigerating for all the flavors come out and mix well. It is arranged on a platter and served immediately.
