Baked Salmon with Tarragon is a popular, traditional dish in Scotland. It is easy to prepare and can be easily found on various Scottish menus. The main ingredients of this dish consist of salmon, butter, onion, lemon and tarragon. The salmon may be first baked, then sprinkled with sauce or it may as well be baked in a foil together with the sauce. Variations of this dish may also call for the use of other ingredients, such as white wine, bacon, cream, fennel seeds, marjoram, garlic and/or others. The Baked Salmon with Tarragon is served as a main dish along with potatoes, rice or vegetables.
