Blueberry pie is a sweet pie filled with blueberries, blueberry filling or blueberry custard. It is a very popular dish in Finland, known under the name of Mustikkapiirakka. In Finland the Blueberry pie is made of baked dough with a filling of blueberries. Usually the dough is made of butter or margarine, sugar, cream, sour cream or milk, flour and eggs. The filling is made of blueberries, sugar and breadcrumbs or potato flour. The Blueberry pie or Mustikkapiirakka can be served warm as well as cold with some tea or coffee.
