Bubur cha cha
Bubur cha cha is yam and sweet potato cubes prepared in coconut milk and sago and served hot or cold. It is very popular throughout Singapore and Malaysia, and is also prepared for 15th day of Chinese New Year. First peeled and cut into pieces delicious and sweet potatoes are steamed separately till they are soft. The tapioca pearl jelly and sago are put into boiling water and cooked until translucid. Coconut milk, pandan leaves, sugar and salt are added in the final stage of preparation and simmered for about ten minutes. Bubur cha cha is a real celebration of taste, color and aroma due to ingredients used for preparation.
