Cinnamon Stick Soft Serve
Cinnamon Stick Soft Serve is a variation of the recently marketed type of ice cream known as soft serve. Soft serve is a relatively recent term (c. 1982) used to describe a type of ice cream that is softer than regular ice cream and that has been sold commercially since the late 1930s. The Cinnamon Stick Soft Serve, is a famous Chicagoan dessert which is made from apple slivers and pie crust crumbles which are embedded in cinnamon ice cream and ringed with drizzled salted caramel. This dessert is also known as grandma's apple pie in hand-held form, it being served all year around.
