Espinacs a la Catalana represents a regional dish from Cataluña, that is quite simple to prepare. Green bunches of brewed spinach are quickly sauteed in olive oil, raisins, pine nuts and garlic, afterward which it is being served hot with a couple pinches of salt. The result is an exquisite dish that gives a flavor sensation for your tongue.

Espinacs a la Catalana represents a delicious and elegant side dish, that can often be served with various pork specialities, such as botifarra blanca and panxa de porc (belly pork), or eggs. In the last case, the dish is served in an earthenware, and not on a plate.
