Fasolka po bretońsku
Fasolka po bretońsku , which literally means "bean and meat stew from Britanny", is a Polish dish, very popular all over the country. Its main ingredients are beans and meat (typically pork, Polish sausage - kielbasa, or bacon - Boczek). Beans are boiled, while sauce is made with diced onion, fried in oil with spices such as paprika, salt and pepper. Then diced meat, bacon, or kielbasa and tomato paste are added. Afterwards this sauce is added to beans and is seasoned to taste. Fasolka po bretońsku is cooked until beans are soft.
