Roast pork is a traditional Danish dish. It is often eaten on Christmas Eve or Christmas parties and can be served with red cabbage and apples, roasted and boiled potatoes, dark sweet mustard and gravy. It is prepared with the meat cut from the neck with the skin or breast piece. The pieces of meat are carefully salted and spiced and then roasted in a high quality oil. The pork has a browned crust either soft or crispy, extremely delicious, and pink coloured meat inside.
