Kasza gryczana or Polish baked buckwheat is a staple in Polish cuisine and well-known buckwheat porridge. This healthy meal is usually served as a side with many dishes. The method of preparation is quite simple - buckwheat, boiled in water and salt and then baked in oven until done. It may be served with melted butter, honey, cinnamon, veal, pork, beef, meatballs, mushrooms, garlic, and any other additional products depending on your taste. Kasza gryczana is often used as an accompaniment to hot dishes, sauces or salads.
