Khanom tuay (ขนมถ้วย)
Khanom tuay (ขนมถ้วย) is a popular Thai street food dessert.
The recipe of Khanom tuay is very simple and the process of its preparation is quite interesting. First rice flour, coconut milk, palm sugar and salt are mixed together, and then the mix is placed in special Thai cup cake and prepared in the steamer.
Khanom tuay is served at warm and it is usually topped with bit salty syrup prepared from salt coconut milk and flour.
There regional varieties of Khanom tuay, some of them use pandanus leaf or mint leafs.
