Leite-crème is a delicious Portuguese dessert. It is made of whole milk, eggs, sugar, flour, lemon peel, cinnamon and other ingredients to garnish like nuts or caramel. The ingredients are mixed and boiled on a slow fire. When the Leite-crème is ready it is poured in some glass containers and left to cool. It takes some time to prepare this dessert, but it is worth the waiting. Leite-crème is also called Portuguese Milk Custard. It has different names in different countries. In France it is called Crème Brûlée, in Spain it is called Crema Catalana and in England it is called Trinity Cream.
