Lemon Viennese Tarts
Lemon Viennese Tarts is the traditional baked dessert where the tarts are filled with the lemon curd-smooth, intensely-flavored spread, made with egg yolks, sugar, lemon juice and zest. The cake components are put in a mixer or food processor and mixed until soft. The combination is put into a piping-bag and is baked in a pre-heated oven until light brown in colour. The tarts are made in a half-spherical shape with the filling inside. They are served with the icing sugar spread on the top and usually a piece of lemon in the center of each tart, but any decoration is possible.
