Liang Teh

Liang Teh is a herbal tea, extremely popular in Indonesia. It is usually served cold during the hot summer days. Due to the fact that for a long time many families had their own way of making liang teh, nowadays there exist a lot of recipes for preparing it. Luo Han Guo (Fructus Momordicae), honey, dried longans, and licorice are only some of the liang teh's ingredients.

Liang Teh has a pretty bitter taste when drunk without any syrup or sugar.

This drink is suitable for fevers and sore throats. It can be homemade, or sold canned in various stores.
