Palacsinta is a traditional Hungarian pancake, usually stuffed with sweet or any other type of filling. It can be filled with apricot jam, chocolate sauce, cottage cheese or poppy seed, being rolled up and sprinkled with icing sugar or other sweet or salty sauce.

Among its ingredients are eggs, milk, flour, soda water (mineral water with gas), oil and salt or sugar.

Palacsinta is a perfect dish served as a dessert for breakfast or as a side dish for lunch and dinner. Palacsinta is also known in Russia, Moldova, Ukraine etc.
