Piece of pesci arrosto

Pesci/gamberi arrosto is literally translated as baked fish and shrimps. There are numerous ways to cook the two sea products in the oven, but the most Italian inspired recipes suggest that the peeled and deveined shrimps are tossed in a mixture of olive oil, salt, pepper and minced garlic cloves and coated with bread crumbs and grated Parmesan cheese before being introduced into the oven. The procedure is the same with the fish, the most popular being the orange roughy and the haddock. The shrimps and fish also have to be sprinkled with melted butter before cooking.

The dish is served hot with lemon wedges.
