Pollo horneado constitutes a traditional dish in the Honduran cuisine, it representing an over roasted chicken. The dish is characterized by a golden brown color and tender, juicy texture. The flavor of Pollo horneado is enhanced by the traditional Honduran spices used for its preparation, and namely: sage, nutmeg, thyme, marjoram, mint leaves and garlic.
