Poulet à la Bruxelles
Poulet à la Bruxelles is a traditional Belgian dish and it is served in all restaurants of the country. The main ingredients of the dish are the chicken breasts and Brussels sprouts. The chicken breasts are first cooked with some eggs and cornstarch. Also the Brussels sprouts are cooked a little in some salted water. Then they are simmered together with some shallot, garlic, ginger, green pepper, green onions, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, Chinese rice vinegar, chicken broth and water chestnuts. The Poulet à la Bruxelles is usually served hot with rice.
