Sambal goreng teri

Sambal goreng teri is a delicious Indonesian snack, prepared mainly of salted anchovy and peanuts. Other ingredients of this dish include small tomatoes, palm sugar, oil, shallots, red/green chilies, garlic, kaffir lime leaves and salt. It is recommended to cook sambal goreng teri with small/ medium fresh peanuts, because these give the dish a much more sweeter taste.

It is often served as a side dish, with steamed white rice or other rice dishes. Sambal goreng teri represents the perfect snack for the lovers of spicy food and is usually eaten for breakfast.
