Soybean milk or Soy milk (Du Jiang, 豆浆) is a Chinese traditional breakfast drink, usually accompanied by pastries like mantou (steamed bun), youtiao (deep-fried dough), and shaobing (sesame flatbread). Soybean milk is made in both sweet and salty variants, but the sweet one is more common. Soybean milk is made by soaking dry soybeans and grinding them with water. Soybean milk contains about the same proportion of protein as cow's milk.

The earliest evidence of Chinese making soybean milk dates back to 200 AD. Today soybean milk is arguably the most common and popular breakfast drink in the country.
