Welsh Cheese Pudding

Welsh Cheese Pudding is a savoury dish very popular in Wales and all over the UK. It is made from buttered toasted bread, which is covered with cheese, usually Caerphilly cheese and leeks - that is the symbol of Wales. These all are topped with another slice of buttered bread, and a mixture of eggs, mustard and milk is poured over. The dish is ready to be baked. Sometimes this deli is made with cheddar and onion, that gives it an original taste. Welsh Cheese Pudding can be eaten on its own or served with salad.
